R4-K2 Classes

Our classes promote problem solving, creativity, collaboration and critical thinking.

iRobot Roomba Hacking

Together we'll disect an iRobot Roomba, identify the components, and use them to create a new robot. This is a class for after school students ages 11 and up.

Homeschool Space Bots

In this class we'll be racing to build and program a robot that will navigate to a broken space ship and bring it back to base.

Arduino Racers

In this class we'll be buidling and programming 3D printed Arduino based robots to race against one another and avoid obsticals autonomously.

Sumo Bots

In these classes students will learn basic physics concepts and use what they learn build and program Lego EV3 Robots that battle autonomously in a sumo arena.

ABOUT OUR TEAM



Kevin Braun

Kevin Braun has a BFA from the University of Massachusetts in Electronic Imaging and currently instructs courses on User Experience Design at Champlain College. Before co-founding R4-K2 he taught children's classes in robotics and game programming.

Christine Braun

Christine Braun has a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts and is comfortable working in any medium. Before co-founding R4-K2 she taught children’s classes in ceramics, basic wood working, martial arts, and robotics.
